Is this bass a short scale

Thinking of buying, but can't seem to figure out the scale of this puppy, maybe you guys might have more luck looking at the pictures.

I'm usually pretty good at gauging scale length, but I can't tell with that one. The perspective angle of the photo makes it extra difficult. Ask the Ebay seller directly, tell them to measure from the nut to the bridge or from the nut to the 12th fret.

Judging from the pickup size compared to the body it doesnt look like its a short scale although thats not a real accurate measurement.

I'd probably guess medium scale (I class a Mustang short-scale and an Epiphone sg bass a medium...although I've heard people call them both "short-scale")

They are both about 30" scale. Medium scale is typically 32" or 33".

Measure it from the point where the E string leaves the nut to the point it contacts the bridge saddle. Approximately 30" is short scale, 32" is medium, 34" is long scale.

agreed. On most shortscales, you will notice that the bridge is usually closer to the center of a normally proportioned body than that.
