Tuners look wrong, headstock wrong decal looks suspect, The bridge is wrong looks like a Epiphone bridge. Fake-aroo at least your only out 250

Thanks. I've decided to keep the bass AND kick the guy's ass if I see him again. Plywood? God, if this thing is plywood then this undermines all of the theories of how different woods affect instrument tone. That is, unless there's a theory that plywood sounds awesome. This bass sounds great, but my ego is bruised...

I have a 1989 Korean Squier II with a plywood body, and it sounds great. Same type of bridge as yours as well.
