At least he has a ton of basses to play all those open strings with!
Thank you for this. I heard the smoke detector beep and thought it was coming from my home.He ain’t no bass player, dead give away, he didn’t have a 9volt to put in that smoke detector!
How would i be the troll? ._.Who's the troll here? OP or video guy?
I came across this video and in the video he says that you can play only open strings for metal? I'm not sure if i understood correctly. On his covers he only plays open strings and doesn't do any fretting. As someone that doesn't even play yet, is this correct? I've never seen this before.
By feeding the TB community a question that common sense alone could answer?
But sorry if this was a serious question, no offense meant in that case...
I may have misunderstood "that you can play only open strings" as "you are only allowed to play open strings" while you probably meant "you can get by/away with only playing open strings"...
Is not fretting good for Metal?
Hey guys so i'm saving money for my first bass and I've been looking at bass technic videos and other videos about bass. I came across this video and in the video he says that you can play only open strings for metal? I'm not sure if i understood correctly. On his covers he only plays open strings and doesn't do any fretting. As someone that doesn't even play yet, is this correct? I've never seen this before.
Thank you guys.
I'm looking into buying a bass for years i'll be honest, and i do a lot of research but i honestly didn't know if you could just play the root note like the guy said and be able to get away with it.
