Sidenote-they're great live, but all of Wavering Radiant was a bit much the last time I saw them.

Last time they played "Dulcinea", and the whole crowd was moving in unison during that epic ending!

I will say that Jeff's mystery chorus sounds killer, In the absence of truth has the BEST sounding bass chorus I've heard, it's definitely that sound in my head.

His active bass, musicman, helps with the deep chorus.
If most of his Boss pedals crapped out on him, he could get a direct replacement very quickly no matter where in the world he was playing.
Hand of the Host is RV-3 plus PS-3.
Whooo Isis!
I'm hoping for another Celestial encore tonight. In fact, I want a whole lot of Oceanic/Panopticon material.

.... Jeff's tone is fairly unique and the amount of depth to his single note picks are awesome (chorus, delay, tremelo, pitch shifting...). I love the fact that the bass in their mix is so prevalent and out in front.
A good musicman bass and and big bad mama jama rig from Aguilar goes a long way. I've always wondered though why he goes with Boss effects.

cause I am a gear snob and I believe there are higher caliber pedals that he could utilize.
