I agree !7 Pro if you cant wing an SVT. I am not one for mixing Brands as I feel one (Head/Cab) is made with the other in mind. But you can get lucky
That's my only concern .. Is the horror stories of it not working.. But I'm hoping those issues were sorted out and fixedbetween the 7 Pro and the D800, tone wise, I think that the 7 Pro would be the better fit for the cab. but I don't trust the 7 Pro to stay running.. on the other hand.. the D800 for a class D amp is truly awesome..
Tough choice ....The 800 is so awesome. Not a fan of the pro series Ampegs.
What GK would you say ?I've played GK heads into ampeg 810s and almost cried the tone was so righteous. Nothing wrong with mixing brands, the 7pro will not stand up to that new Mesa head.
