I for one am glad that Peavey isn't that popular. Keeps the prices down.
Honestly, I would take any USA Peavey over a lot of other basses at 3 times their going price range.

My perception of Peavey is that they build to a price point rather than build it to a design goal. Could be 100% incorrect, but that's what I think of when I hear the name "Peavey".
Really? The American Cirrus can rival any of your basses.
in the words of steve albini "the thing about peavy equtment is it always works, it never sounds that good but it always works, you can find something peavy at the bottom of a lake and dry it off and it will work like it came out the factory. theres a upper limitation for anything peavey"
altho i have a milestone III and i love it to bits

I would love peavey tons more if all their amazing basses weren't 35inch scales. I mean seriously, what's up with that? Not saying it's bad, but getting around on my G bass with my sausages is a task.
I love my USA Cirrus. It has been my go to bass for 5 years. It is a tank that takes a licking and keeps putting out night after night.
I would live to see Peavey expand the Cirrus line to a true custom shop with more wood choises, pickup choises (MM/J or P/J Cirrus!! GAS!!), and different scale length. The downer with the custom shop was the limited choises you had.
And I would LOVE to see a singlecut Cirrus!
