Next to a Roscoe LG, its the best bass I've ever played
I agree, They should actually offer some more bass variety
Yet on a bass forum with so large a membership, Peavey is constantly slammed.

If you want to complain about crappy gear from the 1970's, look no further than Fender or Gibson. It's funny how people claim Peavey made junk in that era, when those 2 companies were busy destroying their reputations at breakneck speed. Did Fender make a bass amp in the 70's that wasn't half-assed?
As far as the 80's are concerned, I'd say Peavey made better basses than both Fender and Gibson, both in quality and innovation.
