o dear.
That drummer is not that bad, IMO, hey- at least he doesnt speed up and get obnoxiously loud.
But his girlfriend "vocalist".... o dear. Houston, we have a problem.....
I agree, the drummer is not bad, and he works hard on his short comings. If I put in as much practice time as he does, I would be able to take my playing to the next level.
1- You're pretty good on bass.
2- The vocalist isn't very good at anything.
3- Pay to play is not acceptable.
4- Your band name is cheesy as hell.
I'd find a new band that you're not embarrassed to play with. Good luck!
Thanks!
One of the better threads to enjoy here today at TB. Thanks for posting.
I thought you guys might enjoy this.
For our future entertainment, please share you gig stories after the band performs them.
Will do. Next one is 10/27 and we have one, maybe two practices between now and then.
Don't walk. RUN away.
The money here says that things won't get any better.
(Since I couldn't leave you with a positive message, I figure two negative ones are equivalent in value.)
I'll count it.
Look on the bright side - you have a cool looking avatar!![]()

. The rest of the band are really excited about this "opportunity." I don't have the heart to tell them what this really is. At least it's not pay-to-play.
