I've sold all my basses.

I say good job, all of those basses were good, but there was a lot of overlap. Your customs obviously have the features that you want to keep. Personally, I'd have kept something that can do the active/hot thing like the stingray, but maybe one of your customs do that already.

I had one bass when I got married. (did'nt even play it) 4 years later I have 4 basses and 2 more planned. 2 guitars, a workingman 10 and a LMII with (2) GS112's plus a effects board with 5 boxes.
And my wife is really cool with all of this. She says it's nice to have a man who actually does something.:)
Enjoy your marriage and be honest with her about your need for gear.

Meh. Basses are replaceable. I've sold some in the past that I really regret selling, but there's always more to buy.

As long as you marry a good woman who will support your music gear/bass buying in the future (within reason), you'll be just fine.

You can't be a "bass addict" if you'd so easily give up 9 of the blighters, just for a "woman" :scowl:

Also, avatars don't actually count as real basses, so "she" can't have a go at you for adding one there :D .

Seriously Tomis17, you know that you'll find a way to buy a few more basses in the future and that there's every chance that you'll find something better than any that you've owned before.

You bought your ticket. You knew what you were getting into. I say let 'em crash!

Actually, you'll find that a great bass comes around as often as women. Which in my case is once every 5 years.
