If the entering of your data into moveon.org is stopping you - I get it. But I took the leap and so far no junk email or anything strange.

I have no love for george soros or moveon, but I figure that if those folks want to maintain integrity they will not use my personal info in ways that would infuriate me.

As far as I can tell - this is what is keeping people from signing.

Does anyone know if this is protected info only used to validate the petition?

If there is some guarantee to that - I would think the votes would go off the chart.

Good points! I never gave it much thought. Seemed to be the same info any other online site would ask for. I occasionally get a Gmail, maybe twice a week concerning other causes. I just delete them like the other 100 or so I get from everyone else. Lol .

I{m out of the country right now, but I just tweeted it so all my NEPA friends will see it, a lot of them are musical, so that hopefully will garner atleast a couple signatures.

Ironically enough, I{m a massive Hofner fan and a Rick fan as well, but thats for another thread.

McCartney listed him as his largest influence. Imagine the amount of signatures this would get if McCartney would participate in spreading the word.
