I haven't ruined an amp since, so I think it's just Peavey that hates me
Peavey gear catching fire is not that rare. In the case of the SP3 pa speaker that went alight during a show I was at I would have to rate it as well-done.

I don't usually add the Behringer and I usually put the Peavey Head on it's side where the Behringer is in that picture.

all this clocks in at 290 bucks and it's everything i own except instrument cables and a tuner.

I had that same rig once, Peavey vocal monitor cabinet or something - but I raise you the peavey horns replaced with car speakers and a Holmes PA head in place of the Peavey head - that was Janky-A!!!
Before that I had a Standell that I bought for $5 that shocked a friend through the instumnet cable who borrowed it once (it was ok he was drunk and it kinda sobered him up) that amp actually caught fire and burned down, so I guess that was super janky-A...

No way a rig with a Digilog Dynamicator can be considered "janky". Those things are so clean and transparent you can't even tell if they're on. Especially with the Vintagerator cranked.

It's only considered janky in this setting because he doesnt have an Algorhythmic Prosecutor paired with it. You need both to have a quality tone, otherwise you get too much color in the sound.
Hmm, now that you mention it, aside from the hella janky cab and a couple redneck repairs, my rig is awesome. Though my back's, gonna be AFU if I keep lifting that 105# (48kg) behemoth.
Haha. That was taken at the end of my hallway where I had everything stacked while I cleaned my room. I'll take a pic with it set up with the rest of my band's rigs at our next practice.

On the left is a Torque T100BX I picked up 2nd hand. Claims to be "Powered by Celestion" which I guess means the power plug is Celestion...
On the right is an HH VS Musician 100 watt combo from the mid-late '70s. 2nd hand (traded a Laney bass amp for it).
I have the Torque dialed in to be very very bassy, and the HH carries the mids and highs (plus effects). Works quite well! I have it on its side to try and stop the reverb springs shocking when I walk past it.... and ontop of that is a Stagg 20 watt practice amp I never have plugged in.

Doomy Carvin jank below. Ignore the guitar amp half stack...it's just there to place the Carvin amps at a convenient height.
