yea, but you are going against the conventions that any reputable jazz program teaches. You should get off this idea of forcing a blues into ABA or any other pattern used to describe longer jazz standards that are not blues. Enuf said, I am checking out
no im not trying to do that. i write that drifting blues has a blues form and more exactly an aaba form where b is the change to IV...
that's just in drifting blues, there are the other pieces that we havent discussed where his arguieng is similar to the point that blues its not an aaba form... i mean... enough for me. i told him he is trying to make work too much and without reward because i dont even like him or admire him or anything... and i've seen the content of the asignature already.

Man, I thought Millenials only existed in America.

Let me get this straight. The teacher is right. You are wrong. You can't accept that you are wrong. You tell him he is making you work (so you can learn the material you are supposed to be studying - heaven forbid), and you "don't even like or admire him or anything".

What's your problem? Either go to school to learn, or drop the class.

no, no im seeing the assignature for the second time. the first time i "failed" just because i didnt do the analysis of rock songs. that's what i think that's wrong. also, the analisys of the songs are too wreird... i've done and he says a bunch of things as if i haven't worked hard for making it... like if i was lazy.

The "teacher" called me... i dont know how to say it... like dufus. and if i see him outside the university probably its going to get worse all this....

if you believe that just because im the student and not the teacher i dont have the reason, you are very wrong.

stop millenials stuff...

@Member8675309

i didn't do the rock analisys because i didn't want to.... and i accepted that he reprobated me for that. what i dont accept its that he's making me work too much... for the second time.

i didn't do the rock songs analysis because i haven't played that for a while and i consider myself outside of the rock world since a long time...

I'd suggest you drop the ego, learn some humility, and wise up to the fact that there will ALWAYS be someone who is more knowledgeable than you are.

Let me try this in a polite fashion, before I go to bed. He is the teacher (quotation marks or not). You are the student. Either:

1. You play by his rules.
2. You drop the class.
3. You fail.
4. You get expelled and or arrested for threatening and/or assaulting him.

Good night.
