jbass vs pbass

I don't fine either P or J neck to be faster than the other ... any bass neck can be fast if the bass is setup correctly ( unless its a total POS )
I prefer a P necks ( 70's style ).... Jazz necks feel too small to me ... fretless version of the jazz neck has grown on me a little though :)
 
I think it's funny that a topic like this, which has been done a zillion times, still brings plenty of responses. It's a popular topic for a reason, new players are curious. I know one of the first questions I asked at our local music store back when I started bass was what's the difference between a P and a J. The clerk in the store was sharp, and said that most players have one of each, and I probably should, too. :)
