Hey - we can't be everywhere!

I do know that we try really hard here to be fair and even-handed in our moderation policies. But the mod team here, just like any other people, are not perfect. Apart from me, of course. I'm badass and wonderful in all respects and all the time. But you guys already know that, right?

To contiue: I am about to post a solo that I recorded an hour ago at The Players School of Music. It is a short work that contains only chord tones, nothing else (I got silly at the end and added some other notes, but the body of the performance is 100% chordtones. Enjoy and if you wish to ask about it, please do. Thanks! The link will be here in a few minutes.

Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was just giving guys perfmission to air their grievances. Some really have a problem with me and if they explain them politely, then I would be glad to make you President of the No Past Zone! If nobody writes in, then it is as I sort of suspected; people hear things and go with what they hear, but they really don't have any real objection to me or what I say. Like John Lennon, I seem to have the power to get under people's skin. Lennon used to wind people up just by asking for a cup of tea. I guess it can be considered a talent, sort of.

Guys,

Regarding the suggestions made that Jeff "bullies" those with inferior knowledge, I bring this to the table:

If Jeff and I or, I would wager, any of you were to meet in a setting where we could play and make music, he would do so and enjoy it regardless of our individual knowledge. Afterwards, we'd have a beer and curry and laugh at ourselves. He might, at this point, offer some advice to us for our own self-improvement as musicians. I, for one, would listen and learn and, no doubt, become the better player Jeff knew I could be. Isn't this the point?

Somebody made a joke about Thor. Here it is!

Thor came down to Earth, changed into the form of a mortal, found a woman and had sex with her for three days without stopping.

When he finally finished, he stood up, reverted back to his immoratal appearance and screamed, "I'm Thor!"

The woman said, YOU'RE THOR? I'm tho thore that I can't even pith!!!

I have a buddy who couldn't be more on the opposite side of politics than I am. We don't agree on ANYTHING, and still we love to hang. Why? Because I am not out to convert him nor he convert me. We share thoughts, we disagree on practically everything, and I never had so much fun as hanging with this guy. We're good friends now for 20 years because we love to hang, and we love to share time together. I sure wish that people here would do the same thing because, if you don't like what I tell to you, just change the channel.

Music related discussion question - what are you guys listening to right this second? I'm chilling to "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves" by Cher. Cool arrangement and a real example of how to mix a record with class. Jeff, you have some sounds on at home now?
