Jimmy's fault... (Ampeg content)

I got my first Ampeg, an SVT 3 Pro about a year and a half ago. I has been a great head, I run it through a SVT 212 AV and it moves all of the air that I need.

But...

I really, really, really, really wanted a genuine, all tube SVT. I've played through them and there is nothing else quite like them. The planets aligned this evening and I picked up a clean 2006 US made SVT Classic. I have not carried it in from the car yet. Here is the seller's photo as I know the rule, no photo no amp.

Now I'm going to save up for a second SVT 212 AV.

Thanks Jimmy!

It is awesome Jimmy, thanks for guiding us to the light.

Now I'm going to order a black grill for my SVT 212 AV. Does anyone have a good idea of where to get one?

You may want to check with Ampeg. According to their web site it looks like the black Classic grill is available separately.

Oh neat! I knew they were going to start selling grills but didn't know they had started. OK, never mind my Fliptops recommendation.

Actually, Fliptops is a good company ;)

Right now it doesn't look like Fliptops offers grills for the new cabinets. If I'm reading things correctly I think the Ampeg part # is 2041847 ("Classic Grille Accessory Pack SVT-212AV"). It's not my place to post pricing but if that is the correct part number the price looks pretty reasonable to me.

Replacement parts can be bought through authorized dealers and service centers. I ran that part number that Mark had and came up with this as well:

$40? Excellent price!

B&H is the shiznitz on price. I think they are cheaper than Walmart (which doesn't seem to sell cabs).
