John Myung!!! (again)

Ive only just started gettin into dreamtheater cause the new band im in loves them. Its a pity myung is always so low in the mix, it reminds me of old metallica albums 
A drummer i know said his bass solo on metropolis pt 1 sounded like the bass wasnt plugged in to an amp. It sure is a strange tone thats for sure. Any one else agree?

Well about Myung, I believe he´s really one of the best players out there. I love the each and every DT album, but I would so love to try that Metropolis Bass solo but I can´t get a transscription... I´ve got no clue where to search.

I agree, John Myung is an amazing bassist! Oh man, I can't stop watching the DVD. That solo in Fatal Tragedy while everyone else is soloing sick! He's going a million miles per hour. All of the vids I've seen of him.. I've only heard him speak about a paragraph in all. What he lacks in speakin he makes up in his playing. Very melodic and harmonic. My favorite song is Change of Seasons. I almost have it down. Just a few parts i have to learn.. including the shredding part. *bows down to Dream Theater* hehe.. I'm Long Island.. and JM recorded Freeport Jam right here in my town! ok.. now I'm ranting on.. bye bye
