Yes, Patitucci is a true master & that quartet is superb, probably my favorite "working" band in jazz at the moment. I've had the chance to see them a couple of times over the years, in Tampa and at the Montreal Jazz Fest (they'll be at that fest again this summer).
Really wish I could have made Jazz Fest in New Orleans this year -- that band was one of the reasons I wanted to go. Unfortunately, could not. I did make it to French Quarter Fest a few weeks before Jazz Fest, and had the chance to (again) see the long-running Astral Project group with James Singleton, another of my favorite bassists. They're regulars at Jazz Fest.
But I digress ...
