I'm gonna fasten a pic of the tubes in the back of the rack.....
Just kidding:).
Playing one will put all that visual stuff in perspective.
Most folks get stuck on the Dove Cage or Bamboo case anyway. Then the sound gets them. Astute musicians say, "all it needs is those three tone controls".
Little do they know that they aren't interactive so it's like having the 1950s and 2012s at the same time.

I cheer the rectangular box. :) I'm not going to sweat the visuals. Now its just seeing if I can scratch the cash together by the end of the month. Even Ms. Skies is on board with me, though she liked the bamboo one until she saw the price! Currently have a number of things up for grabs, fretless Jazz, MIA Jazz, PRS, a set of Fralins, some effects, and tomorrow a DBX compressor.

We'll see what unfolds. It won't be the end of the world if it doesn't happen, but I like to get my way. :)

I'm considering what I want to do if it works, keep my current 3 space with amp+Kern and get a 2 space to carry separately, or get another 4 space to use, etc.

Bruh, the Kern, the Amazing Grace that it is, will be staying home until it goes to another deserving soul.

Probably. Unfortunately I'm a much better gear buyer than seller. :( The harder something is to find, the more I tend to want to keep it!

I also like options...and the Kern can double in a studio situation as a pre for something else.

Unfortunately, no. I'm still in "gear reduction mode." :hmm:

Well, mostly... :ninja:

Mostly is a good word. I'm selling 3 basses and a number of other things like my Fralin '63s, yet looking to buy a Monique. All told if everything sells it should be the value of 2 or 3 Moniques, but it's getting the stuff moving that counts.

Too bad too, because the PRS has all of the original issue, paperwork and all.

I'll have something up on the facebook/moniqueforbass site late next week. That is when the first face panels will be delivered.

It is a kick working with graphics folks. Expressive. Much like musicians. Invalid Link Removed Good people.

Hey Jule,

Any pictures or mock up of the faceplate for the new rackmount?

Thank you Chadds.

Much hubbub with metal, graphics, components, transformers, cardboard boxes, but I have to tell everyone that I got a copy of Jake Wolf & Michael Hynes (Jake did the Monique review in Bass Musician Magazine) "Eclective" CD. It is the best thing I've heard since Herbie Hancock's "Headhunters". Wow! Again. . . I am very grateful.
I blame Jule. You search you whole life for a sound. The punch of an SVT. The big push of a Sunn 2000s. The warmth and hifi of Hiwatt/tube McIntosh. Immediacy of Marshall. Then you find it when you least expect it. OMG.

The controls actually do just what you want. :)

Your payment of $xxxxx.00 USD is complete.
You're now going back to Jule Amps.

5 figures for a Momique now? Haha wooo I'm glad I grabbed mine when I did!

The new rack mount version of the Monique has introductory/promotional pricing of just under a kay. I don't know what the end pricing will be, but I guess we could assume that it would be somewhere in the 1200-1500 range...unless Jule is also planning a bamboo rackmount version that would probably be more.

One of my deciding factors is that any way I play it right now I'm not going to lose out in any way.
