Exclusively a pick player for 40+ yrs (Bass VI, you know).
After scores of trials, settled on these...
sort of an oversized jazz pick - no noise, great control.

What are they? What are they made of?

They're polycarbonate---but not the same formula used in their Primetone picks or in gel picks. I've used these on mandolin--personally I think they feel a bit "soft" for my taste, but that's just me.
I mainly play with fingers( or thumb), but I've used Dunlop felt picks a bit.
Recently I also started using leather ones and really like them.

I use these on everything and buy them by the gross. Fender Heavy celluloid 351.
