About the cost of mine, I'd love to share, but out of respect for Jens' business, I won't. Hope you understand![]()
i ADORE jens ritter's creations. I wold die to be able to play one. How much was this. I'd guess somewhere around 6 or 7 grand. GOD Bless your time with this instrument my friend.

Ha ha... yep!
I actually just got my first real job after the University, so I'm getting a bit ahead of things... but I'd rather have the bass first and then earn the money to pay for it along the way![]()
LOLAnd then once you declare bankruptcy from running up your credit way too high, you'll have a couple expensive basses to sell to help pay off your creditors. Good plan. Hey, go get yourself a mansion while you're at it. And then marry a golddigger without a prenup. You'll be fine!
BTW, Suze Orman says she wants you to call her right away!
hm... I guess I'm the minority here saying that I don't really like it...
Hey everybody,
just wanted to spread my joy a little bit here...!
Look what I just bought:

Jens Ritter is either a true visionary, a great sculptor, or both.
I love his work, from an artistic perspective alone (I've never played one of his basses).
Congrats Basdyret, you're going to have something to cherish there, once it finally arrives.
BTW, if it's going to be exhibited at these bass guitar shows, does that mean that ohter people will get to put their dirty hands on it, before you do?

I understand your right to share or hide the price, but I fail to see how that would be a disrespect for Jens. Could you elaborate on it? Thanks
My guess would be a whole lot more than that, actually.
Now, i didn't really read the whole thread, but someone beat me to posting the pagelli...
BUT- Did I just miss all the soudclips of the ritter or would it really be so that there aren't any?????:scowl:

I'm sorry...I was just trying to be funny late at night![]()
Seriously, that's probably a bass you'd be able to get your money back out of any time you wanted. Ritter Basses seem to be the basses for people whom money is no object, and now if they want that particular bass, they have to go to you to get it. And you're young, and everyone goes through their first real money really quick (I sure did), so at least you have a lot of time to recover.
