Just bought the Ritter Platinum Roya Concept!!!

No, you're absolutely right, in the sense that everything BUT the fretboard is carved out of one piece of quartersawn mahogany...! There's a LOT of wood lost in that process, but it certainly makes for an incredible even tone all over the fretboard.

If you meant that it was carved out of one piece of purple kingwood (the fretboard wood), then no. Considering how rare that wood is, and the fact that I'm paying $1.150 just to upgrade to that fretboard wood from macassar on my other Roya (which is finished in March), it wouldn't be realistic :)

Ha ha... yep! :D

I actually just got my first real job after the University, so I'm getting a bit ahead of things... but I'd rather have the bass first and then earn the money to pay for it along the way :p

And then once you declare bankruptcy from running up your credit way too high, you'll have a couple expensive basses to sell to help pay off your creditors. Good plan. Hey, go get yourself a mansion while you're at it. And then marry a golddigger without a prenup. You'll be fine!

BTW, Suze Orman says she wants you to call her right away!

Nah, regarding the money thing, I'm at my limit now, and I'm paying about $1.000 on my loan each month, so my bank's still content. No need to take it further from here, though...!

wow, those are some wild looking instruments...! I really like how the body's shaped like a crazy face of some sort, with that huge mouth for the lower cutaway, and the fretboard is even longer than the Platinum concept...!

Good looking basses, but I think I should stop buying now :D

Jens Ritter is either a true visionary, a great sculptor, or both :D.

I love his work, from an artistic perspective alone (I've never played one of his basses).

Congrats Basdyret, you're going to have something to cherish there, once it finally arrives.

BTW, if it's going to be exhibited at these bass guitar shows, does that mean that ohter people will get to put their dirty hands on it, before you do :(?
