this was exactly the thread I needed to see. Need a cab for my LMII and have been eyeing a GK Neo 115. Good to see a lot of folks use a single 115 for similar scenarios that I need it for

Even though most good 15” speakers are louder than a smaller speaker - a single 115 isn’t real loud all by itself (louder than a 10 or 12) but still really not that loud, so I usually use a minimum of two 15s.
 
Unless it's a Barefaced, fEARful, etc....

I think the comparison is better between boutique/DIY cabs with high end drivers versus mass produced cabs using middle of the road drivers. With a lot of commercial cabs the bottom dollar has a big part to play in the design. There are a lot of 115 cabs out there that cost less than a kick booty 3015 or Faital pro driver. Makes sense that you are buying a cab with less capability.
