Just upped my coffee game again

If anyone is ever in Kitchener/Waterloo area and you want fantastic coffee, check out Death Valley's Little Brother (Link Removed). Best coffee that I have ever had in my life.

The guys at Baratza turned me on to Detour, which is the roster these guys use. They have a great roast from Bolivia. I highly recommend it.

Which reminds me, time to order some coffee. Maybe La Colombe this time or maybe Caffe Fresco, the joint DigMe mentioned previously. That guy makes some great coffee too. Tony has an amazing roast from Sulawesi.

I saw that on Shark Tank Friday night. The combo pack they had for the demo included a great roast from a roaster in Olympia, Olympia Coffee Roasting Company. You can get a 12 month subscription for $180, and they send you four samples per month. The samples are about two ounces each. I might sign up for it too.

That is where I saw it too. Post a review if you do end up signing up. I can't tell from their site if they ship to Canada.

End of an era coming for me - I'm about to sell my espresso setup - the one that originally started this thread. You read that right. I've already got a buyer for my Mazzer Mini and I've got the Expobar E61 up on Craigslist right now. Hopefully I don't have to go to Ebay but I will if it doesn't sell. I was only making espresso on weekends and I don't get as much enjoyment out of it as I used to. Now that we have a really amazing espresso bar in town I can get my occasional espresso fix there. I'm going to use the money from the sale to replace my current drip/pourover grinder (which is on its last leg) with something nice maybe. I may also get a Lido 2 hand grinder or a Brazen brewer. Not fully decided yet. Anyway.. RIP, espresso. :)

Just saw this now. Sad day Brad. Did you end up selling everything? What did you end up buying? Mainly brewing pour over?

I haven't read the whole thread so I don't know if it's been mentioned, but the Aeropress is the most versatile coffee maker you can get for $25. My brother gifted me one and I can't stop using it (I prefer the inverted method). It also makes excellent espresso.
It does NOT make espresso, it can make a small amount of strong coffee, but it CANNOT make espresso. Espresso has a very narrow definition. It does make excellent coffee though.
