Watching Ken’s 2nd show. He’s acceptable but not ideal. He seems rushed, and the voice just isn’t right. On a technical level of hosting the show correctly, he’s doing most everything right.
Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers quarterback) and Katie Couric are reportedly up next.
This is not an easy gig.

If he were an unknown, he would have failed the audition. Not bad, but not great.
Has anyone gone back and watched Alex's first show as host to compare to Ken starting out?
Somehow I'm surprised that they didn't pick Ryan Seacrest as the new host......that guy seems to wind up everywhere.

Jennings seems to be finding his feet in the third game, and settling into the role with more ease. I'd be okay with him taking over.

Fwiw, Seacrest drives me nuts..... I can't believe how much that clown gets paid for whatever tv shows he winds up on.

i haven't seen the show since trebek. for real jeopardy = i watch the news.
alex = icon. it's time to move on. ken reminds me of someone else in my life...so he's always been funny/humorous to me. it's all good/fun diversion, IMO.
I found his passion for the game to be nice and he’s trying his best.
I don’t like him much though, it’s his voice mostly.
I was rooting for Lavar Burton to guest host.
I would like to see a permanent replacement very soon, although I am looking forward to seeing Aaron Rodgers guest host.

I like him just fine. He's doing an excellent job.
This is an impossible gig. Trebek was an institution, like Johnny Carson, and remember how hard it was to replace Johnny: it was years of turmoil behind the scenes at NBC. These transitions are really hard to manage.
The closest analog is probably Drew Carey taking over for Bob Barker, and honestly? Jennings is already a better fit for Jeopardy than Carey is for Price Is Right. Carey's fine in general, but I've never felt like it's a great fit. Jennings is already a good fit; might become a great one, if they give him a chance.

No one is EVER going to replace Alex Trebek. Comparing future hosts to him is never going to go well. Look at it as if this is a new show and guest hosts are trying out.
I think Ken is doing a good job. More time for him to become more comfortable might make him a fit. I want to see Aaron Rogers. Look past the FB quarterback and he's a knowledgeable, well spoken man.

Just finished Ken’s 3rd episode. I’m starting to warm up to him. He’s a quick thinker on his feet (duh), has a sense of humor I like, and overall he’s doing better than just acceptably well.

You see the blue with white letters and your brain expects Alex's voice. This will be hard to turn off for a while.
Ken is doing fine and will get into the groove if given the proper time to warm up. (If he wants the gig)
Comparisons will always fall short.
