That video seems to have been shot on a Navy base. "Operation: Entertainment". Looks kinda like the stage is set up near home plate on a baseball field. Weird that the Fender logo is clearly visible on the lead guitar, but not on the bass.

The "First Edition" played a freshman mixer I attended between Davidson & Queens Colleges in 1967. They were on a stage about a foot high. Who knew.

He played a corporate event for our company back in the 90's and he called on the audience asking who was a fan of his or country music, until he found someone that wasn't and picked that person. He was a coworker and Kenny gave him a $10 bill, and said if he didn't enjoy the show he could keep it. The show was pretty decent and after the show when he asked how the guy enjoyed it, he went to return the money. Of course Kenny let him keep it and said to buy his last album...

Miss that company we had great events, Chuck Berry, the Beach Boys (Mike Love version), Jim Belushi and the sacred hearts, and a few others.

The original has backwards guitar on it - I'm sure that was rocker enough for many to fear it!

This song almost rocked. About as firey as I ever heard him.
Liked it when it first came out in '70 - was 14 jr hi. But I was more of a hard rocker.
Just liked the tone and sound and intensity of the song more than the lyric.
Looking at wiki it 's a Mac Davis song, so of course it's well crafted.
