HBCU. That's the name of my daughter's soccer team ... the Humble Benevolent Champions of the Universe. Or something very much like that.

K, that explains a lot. You need to do some looking into universities like FAMU, BCC, Morehouse, Howard, etc. Those are the 4 I can think of off the top of my head. Do that, and you'll have a better appreciation for the black colleges and realize how out of place your comments here are.
You're attacking Cheese for saying things that are correct and reading far too much into his replies. Yea, he has a history of posting conspicuously similar threads which all seem to be pushing an agenda, but this one genuinely isn't one of them. I do agree with you that this story is, or should be a non-issue though.
Also just an fyi. This whole "This world is so awful, I hate it and wish I could leave" schpiel. It's old, tired, angsty, and played out. You don't have a choice what world you live in, so make the best outta this one.
You act as if a HBCU is in itself a negative thing. Do you feel that way about historically white schools? My point is that "race" seems to never be noticed unless the race is not white. White is so often seen as the default or natural state, and others are aberrations.

damn. you talk about me being attacking, and look at you.
I said very clearly in my second post that i didn't want to be misunderstood. That i didn't understand what was going on, and clearly asked for it to be explained. Now you're saying that i attacked him? Jeeze.
Sounds like you need to do of your own advice, too. I'm out, i know how to drop things at the appropriate time.
