That's what the little red thing behind the cabinet is. Unfortunately (well, for bass cab progress, anyway), someone came in and wanted to try out $2K guitar amps just when I hit that phase. As soon as he finishes up, the shop vac action will happen.

I didn't want to deprive you guys of the gory side of doing something like this... just in case any of you decide it's a good idea to try this yourself. :rollno: Jim B. will cancel my dealership if he starts getting a bunch of calls about this ("I want to do what Greg did"). :D

Looking good Greg! Nice job on the installation. That is so cool that Bergantino worked with you on that. Tweeter control and all! Sweet!

That cab makes my back hurt just looking at it. Of course if I could get some help carrying it upstairs I'd be fine with it just living up there!
I suspect the wife would be making a few trips upstairs to get the volume turned down though! :eek: I don't imagine that you can play that cabinet at a low volume!

The cab sounds great at any volume, really. I was just doing some practicing at pretty low volume, and it still stounded amazing.

I'm really digging the tightness of the sealed cab, it's very punchy and firm sounding. And it's just soooooo fat and warm. Now that the tweeter is in, it's added quite a bit of articulation and smoothness up top. I can play chords now and hear the individual notes clearly and distinctly (that didn't happen pre-tweeter).

I'm definitely still in the honeymoon phase, but it's all love at the moment. I need a gig so I can take it out and crank it up!

I've seen that look. And it still causes shivers thinking about it. :D No 610 for Joe, regardless of tweeter count or black hardware. :)

I'm getting hungry just thinking about how awesome this cab must sound. Interesting comment on volume levels too, Greg. I notice that with the HT112ER. The quality of the sound is absolutely amazing, regardless of the quantity.

FYI/FWIW... I've made comment about how the Epifani UL410 was my favorite 10" cab until hearing the HS410. As luck would have it, my local store took in a coupla' Epis on trade, so I got to A/B these exact cabs last week. It'd been three years since I'd heard one of the Epi cabs. Man. Not even close. In fact, the AE410 sounded much better to my ears than the Epi. So, kudos to Berg - it ain't always just about ceramic vs neo. And finally back on-point. Given my love for the HS410, I am once again licking my chops at an NV610 w/ Rocket Tweeter.

Naw, she doesn't hold grudges for too long. She's over the latest new Roscoe now, so you're safe for the time being.

However, once I start talking about a fretless (or a g****r----yes, an LG strat is also one of the things I'm considering next year:eek:), you and Greg both MIGHT wanna consider name changes, unlisted phone numbers, moving to Guam, etc..............
