Source is an email from them in May saying the bass necks were slow going, but they managed to get a bunch of guitar necks out and are still working on it. That email said a couple more months still.
So, not a problem, but a delay. Got it.
Not an uncommon practice across many industries. They’re already producing necks for their own instruments and decided to branch out. They also offered a lower deposit and overall price if you locked in early enough. That’s a good incentive and measure to see just how much interest you’re going to have based on orders. Give them a chance to finish this out and let’s not throw out baseless speculation.I don't know, maybe wait until you know you can produce it before you start selling it to folks. What do you think?
