knife vs multitool

Leatherman Skeletool; pliers, 4 screwdrivers (2 interchangeable bits), wire cutters, knife, bottle opener. Perfect size; easily fits in my pocket. One handed blade opening. I use mine for something every day. Today, I used it to slice an apple, open a package, and replace a hard drive in a laptop.
 
I just came across this behemoth on Amazon. I understand people like to make silly things but what blows my mind is that people actually bought this thing. :eyebrow:

Why buy one of those? Neither Wenger or Victorinox make very many of them (as you might imagine, it ain't easy to get one that size to work right), so they're a collector's item of sorts. And a novelty, of course. The only ones I've seen up to now have been for dealers only. I didn't know you could get one that size; wonder if there's room in my collection...:)
