Know a good amp?

I was just adding to your list of questions. Don't get into a fit.

If the kid's into Punk, then there's an obvious sound there that he likes and he should find out what's producing it, don't you think? And do you really think that every Punk bassist is using the exact same rig? I seriously doubt it.
Oooooooooh I follow ya now. The internet SUCKS for trying to interpert meaning behind what people are saying half the time. I took it like you were being a smart-ass, hence my reply. I apologize though. Carry on :D.

I understand totally. Have the same problem myself sometimes. I sometimes stare at one for a while just trying to figure out the inflection of the comments. Take care! ;)

hows the tone? Im loving the look

My fender rumble 100 has a 15 inch speaker too and has great tone (i just set the EQ totally flat :hiding: ). but that thing looks soo nice...so how is the tone. If i need a new practice or small venue amp im gonna have to look at that one.

Don't know... I got a Bassman 150 instead. I wish I would have seen this when I was shopping. It has to be good, if not great.

hmm I'm personally trying to decide between a fender bassman 100, a peavey tnt 115. I'm leaning towards the peavey since I read here on another thread that it is possible to hook up a 4 ohm cab to it. That way, if I continue playing bass, it's easier to upgrade from teh combo to a rig.

Good luck =p.

Sweet what the cheapest amp you ever bought? and can i et one?

I know 2 good amps. I was having a conversation with my Gk 800RB and it was admiring my good grooming habits and my young looks despite being 37. We then shared stories of old friends gone by and I asked if he would like to be donated to a hurricane victim and he said OK. He's really cool. Then I went to speak to my Glockenklang Bass Art Classic. I was berated in German as to why I wasn't dressed like Dieter and Hans from Sprockets and was also chastised vehemently for my lack of good technique. I then smoothed things over with some metaphysical Wurst und Dunkel Bier. He then told me that he was a tone god (with a little g) and I should always be more respectful. Wait...Hold on...he just apologized and was in a foul mood this morning. All is OK. Love to all!
