Kubicki club?

The term 5 position and 6 position are somewhat confusing. My Pre and Post Kubickis have 5 pre-amp settings and an OFF setting for 6 discrete options. I've seen Kubicki guys use both terms....

Just have him tell you if that includes the "off" position

Hope this helps

factorplayer,
Oh yea! The sound is incredible. I played through a Boss Me 50B effects. Some compression and some chorus and POOF there is Stu Hamm. A little "Black Ice." Well the sound anyway.

I have found that the best part so far is: The neck plays better than anything I've ever held. I do believe I've become a better player because of it. I'm much more aware of fingering and positioning because it's so easy to play. Much less effort.

I did have trouble last night at a crappy club we play once in a while. I had a lot of buzz/noise in the two active postitions. I'm sure it was the Sh$ty lighting/dimmers. But, really noisy. I looked inside the elec cavity and found very little shielding.

Anyone else have a similar problem?
Is this something that is a common mod on Kubickis?

My "German Connection" has come through. I found a 93' for sale in Germany and went for it. I had it sent to a friend in Denmark who got it on Thursday. He opened it and told me that it looked virtually brand new. He said if he bought it at a music store, it would have no problem passing as new/never owned. The case is in excellent shape too. I'm very excited.

Now the bummer..... He's not coming to the US til Dec, 21. Gives Christmas a whole new anxiety. If not for the satisfaction of getting Tim's 97' I'm not sure what I'd do.

Now to justify having TWO Kubickis. Let's see..... Well, you gotta have a back up right?????

My biggest fear in life is that my wife will sell everything I own for what I told her I paid for it....

Looks like a sweet one... and it's for sale too. Wish I had the dough.

click on Used -> Basses on the top Left. It is about the 4th one down. Based on the Serial number, i think it is a Post Fender one...

I don't see a price though....

Definately a post fender Kubicki.
Lovely anyway

Philip Kubicki wrote about fender numbers :
Phil to me :
The correct numbers are 1287 thru 3049. Phil
So this makes it a great looking post fender :-)
