I am considering letting this one go, and I thought I'd preview it here..

I bought this new in 88. I recently scored a lined fretless neck and had Phil custom fit it so the 2 necks are interchangable. He also rebuilt the bridge/tuner assembly. The fretted neck was levelled and is VG+.

I can provide more details to serious inquiries.

Ever noticed the older Kubicki (also newer) are prone to lose flakes of painting ? Is it due to paint used ? Any idea anyone ?

Those certainly seem to be the rarest. Mine's charcoal, which I haven't seen many of but I'm sure there are plenty out there.

Yeah, I had issues with that on my yellow one. My 86 doesn't seem to have that problem... Just road wear.
