Paul, I can convert too.

another Kubicki for sale.
Good conditions, but as usual, he does not ship internationally...
This is getting boring...

Have you seen the fool who sells a Kubicki for 2200$ on CL ?

BTW, if anyone here wants to part ways with a Kubicki, I'll be more than happy to get one, I must still recover from the loss of mine...

Which are the rarest Kubicki colors you have seen ?
Coral pink, Yellow, powder blue, bahama green ?
Am I missing something ?

My early '89 fretless Factor (34" scale--no extender) is "Midnight Blue Pearl". I've never seen another one in this color. Has anyone else? I am sure it can't be the only one, but it must be fairly rare.

Nice to see that things have picked up in this thread lately.... I was lazy and did not get around to starting a new one... but seeing how the pics are expiring on the first page I think i will get on that in the near future, maybe over holiday break

mine was a fender custom shop version in "bahama green". i was actually endorsed by kubicki, which meant i could get basses from phil at a discount, but i never got another one. sold this when i stopped touring, wonder where it is now.

how was the process to get an indorsement with phil? how many percent was the discount?

i sent him a package with an album and some press releases, explained that i recorded with my kubicki, etc... ended up talking to him on the phone (he's a really nice guy), he offered the endorsement which was basses and repair work at a discount (not sure of the amount of the discount, it was a while ago), never took him up on having my bass re-done or buying another, mainly because i was very happy with mine as it was and never had any problems with it and because at the time i could'nt afford another kubicki even with the discount.

Gigged my Kubicki for the first time in about 5 years last Friday. Bass sounded sweet - cut nice and clean through the otherwise crappy sound, lol. Best part of the evening was after the show, though, when the barmaid came up to me and said that she had been collecting empty glasses when a particularly deep bass note came hammering through the PA and shattered one of the glasses she was holding in her hand

Man, gotta love that bass.
