Thanks folks. I ended up finding one that worked. Fairly simple in lower position, a harder in upper. Going to shed it for a few days and see how it turns out. I need to l find an accordionist!

This jazz performance by Emmet Cohen Trio and Cyrille Aimee works for me.
Musical, unpolished, and very improvised. Live from Emmet’s living room in NY.

When Cyrille sings in French after the solos, it very much reminds me of an outdoor gig I played a few years ago. We were asked by an attractive older lady if she could sing Autumn Leaves with us. Sure. Half a second before the pick up notes she informed me it will be in French. Wow. All hearts were broken. There’s something about French lady singers.

Yes, though the Stravinsky has a decidedly minor feel whereas ‘vie’ is emphatically major.
