Couldn't agree more my man. I do the same. I always get compliments on how well my 44 records. And yeah, the VT really adds some guts to it... the guys were a little hesitant to let me put it in the mix and not just go Direct to the board. But once they heard it, they were sold.

Oh and Markus, that pic is awesome! I've been needing a new desktop. Wouldn't by chance have it in 2560x1600 would you? (I love my 30" cinema display ;) ).

Haha well I say mine... but it's my work computer. My boss is a big Mac fan so he makes us all use them. Luckily he got me one that is WAY over powered and with a gigantic screen, so I dont complain :)

For my fellow geeks:
Dual quad-core 2.8ghz Xeons
8GB ram
2x 450gb hard drives


I'd trade it all for a US Hollowbody tho :P

I run both MACs and PC's. I look at it as a tool. That's all. Both have the same outcome.




...of coarse...this is while looking at my Laklands:-)

Here is me playing my lovely Darryl Jones Skyline Jazz Bass at a gig a few weeks ago. This was a hilarious gig because just after we did our set, another band rocked up but there was no keyboardist or bassist so half of my band joined their signer and drummer. The conversation went liek this

"You guys know any Funk?"
No
"Jazz?"
No
"Soul?"
"What do you know then?"
80s and Blues

We ended up playing shambolic versions of Superstition, Mustang Sally, Gimme Some Lovin, Chameleon and one of my band's originals Moon and Spoon. Good times

Can I have a number please :)
