and the LOG keeps on rollin.
Sorry that I haven't been dropping in too much, I've been sick and gigging. It's a good combo. I joined a new band (funky/bluesy/rock trio) and am winding down with a different band while playing a musical. Needless to say, I've been quite busy.
I'm about to head to a rehearsal and then gig, but I just wanted to let the LOGgers know that I'm not dead

What up dudes - just a fun pic real quick:

It's kind of a TEASE due to the angle! And it's not fully Lakland . . . but still pretty fun. From left to right: USJO (Olympic), USJOSonic (Ice Blue Metallic), 78 Jazz (Antigua), USBGPJ (Coral Salmon Pink), 78 Stingray (Mocha), 72 P (Sunburst), Skyline HB (Sunburst).

Ian

Wow! Killer collection, Ian. Especially the PJ and the JO-CS.

Good to hear! I'm kinda in the same boat... 3 nights of rehearsals, 2 gigs, and engineering an 11 hour recording session in the last five days. I'll take it ANY week!!!!

i wanna join the club, but can someone tell me how to post pics? you have to see my two babies :)
Welcome, Dave! The easiest way to post pics is to upload them to a hosting site (like photobucket), then get the code for each picture and paste it into your post (making sure it's surrounded by IMG code, which you can get by clicking the yellow envelope-like icon above on the right).

Well, they ARE small 'banjo' frets if the term I'm using is correct... But I sympathize for sure. I have an SX Jazz Bass floating around here (shhh....) and it's the first non-Lakland I've had in the house in close to 3 years. The frets are HUGE on it. Medium-jumbos at least. Feels like a bunch of roadblocks. As a long-time fretless player, Lakland frets and fretboards were really a big relief for me... Small frets suit me just fine. Very comfortable, yet demanding precision. Just one of the things that sold me on Lakland!

the frets are a nice touch indeed, love'em
