Well I guess it's time to toss my name in the hat... I just picked this up from Happyface which in turn got it from Sparkdog here on TB. It's a 05' DJ Skyline with factory Lindy Fralin single coils, U.S.A Hipshot hardware with d-tuner, and comes in right at 8 1/2lbs. I will take some better pic's with better lighting as I have time, these pic's and the crappy lighting do not do this Pearl White/Tort. combo any justice!
I PMed the LOG moderator guy nubs and have yet to hear from him or get my number.
Enjoy!

Peace,
Looks like we are on a white/trans/tort roll.
I'll keep it moving along.

There you go! Fretless hollowbody would kill!
My next Lakkie will most likely be a HB Fretless.....watching ...waiting......wanting![]()
Okay, Lakland really rocks. Called the shop and talked to Carl about my new 55-02 fretless, and what it's doing. He asked me about setups that I've tried, and I said that it feels more like an "age" issue, as this is new old-stock. The bass is an 07, so it's been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for a couple of years, and now it seems as though the board has shrunk a bit here and there and settled in, yet the plastic fretlines are raised a bit in some spots or lower in others. Nothing really bad and most folks wouldn't notice it, but it's causing the notes to pinch in a lot of places. He asked for my number, and a sales guy called me back within 15 minutes. They've issued a call tag with UPS, who is coming to pick the bass up from me tomorrow! Carl is going to give it some TLC and send it back.
Although this is my 4th Lakland, it's the first time I've ever called them for any kind of service. I wasn't expecting it to be this easy at all. I mean, it's not like Lakland is a small outfit anymore, right? Kudos to them, as this just gives me another reason to quit screwing around and buy that DJ5 I want!

Hey folks !
Part 23 is just incredible ! Keep on keepin' on !
With my band, we've just recorded some covers during the rehearsal.
Just wanted to share this one. Maybe I'm amazed... A great song from Paul Mc Cartney and the Wings.
I like the version we made...
This 's been recorded live with a zoom h2 put in the center of the studio room.
My DJ5 is ran through an old Genz-Benz 4x10 cab and a Hartke LH-500.
Hope you'll like it
