Love the color of the J!

My #6 JO5 had the neck shaved down to roughly DJ5 specs by Michael Tobias. The previous owner knew Dan and is still a close bud of Tobias... unbelievable work by 2 masters!

And, I had SC's Bart J/MM pups and pre replaced w/ Chis and LH3...

So, I say go for it too.

I just got a 55-02 Deluxe model with a clear pickguard. Price was astoundingly low and I'm in love. This is my first Lakland and it wont be my last.

I could ask. It's probably something about them not looking classic enough for the average P bass player, and their P bass pickups already have the tech from the ChiSonic.
