I reckon that would look excellent on a BG or DD

I think Doude has something for you. Candy Red Apple Something with the best of both![]()
All this P/Glaub/Dunn talk is very timely for me.
I've been loving my JO-CS but keep thinking I would like to have a P-bass with flats on it for some old school sounds. Only problem is I can't play a P neck so I need a J neck.
I know the Skyline Dunn has a J neck but I'm just not into red and I think the blocks are a little too much for a P. I wish Lakland would make a Skyline Glaub with the JO neck in olympic white. I just love the look of a white P with a tort guard and rosewood board...OR.... sonic blue with a maple board would be tempting as well. Alright, I'd settle for a burst Glaub with a JO neck. They've got all the parts, just make me one already!!!!!
Too bad I can't afford a US made Glaub.
Rock on!
I'm not following you? Doude?
Just watched John's vid of his band playing alongside MidasThat's very nice sound! The bass cuts through the mix but doesn't kill other instruments. The best kind of domination!
More heresy here, but I'm not a fan of Lake Placid Blue, and I don't want a P/J either. Just a P!![]()
Doug+Dude=Doude.
new tag line (Markus - you listening???? this HAS to be on the Lakland web page before the end of the week):
"Lakland CHI-sonics - The best kind of domination!"
LOVE it!
Love that is stuck!

No doubt! I think I just want the simplistic look and operation of a P bass. Prolly doesn't make any sense. I had an SB-2 once, and having that J pup in the back just made it too easy to noodle with for no reason. I'm wanting to get "stuck" on some gigs with nothing but a P bass, and see how things work out.
take a look at the rest of his basses.............
what do you think????

Yeah good point, but the reason I ask is because, Link Removed the standard P pup is considered a chi-sonic pickup.
Basically I wanted to see if he would if Markus would be willing to compromise the look of a standard P for the sound.

My BG5 is my first P, and I TOTALLY get what you are saying! I love the simplicity, and the fact that I turn up the volume and there is that tone that sits SO WELL in a mix!!!! And a pic just because....
