as for a $500 Lakie - seriously - surf the net (GC, Ebay, Craig's list etc - ALL OVER) you MAY be able to find a 44-01 for a slight bit above $500 or so....seriously.....

yup...instant communication all over the world!!!

not sure how I survived on:

1) snail mail
2) only land line telephones
3) only 4 channels on the Teley
4) NO VCR/DVD player etc
5) no tab web sites (had to get back to basses somehow...)
6) Typewriters (and ALOT of white out!)

OK, had a trade in the works for my 55-02 and fell out at the last minute. As I am thinking through my rework options.....has anyone tried the QTuner P/U's? They look interesting and are reasonably priced. Anyone have any experience with them?
