No doubt! I think I just want the simplistic look and operation of a P bass. Prolly doesn't make any sense. I had an SB-2 once, and having that J pup in the back just made it too easy to noodle with for no reason. I'm wanting to get "stuck" on some gigs with nothing but a P bass, and see how things work out.not heresy at all, I guess I was just judging by myself. I thought a Fralin PJ pair was a sweet deal. And you could still have the J sound in this bass too

Hey Markus, I have a question for you.
Hypothetically, if you were to purchase a Glaub or Dunn, would you get it with a Lakland P Pickup, or a Chi-bucker?
