Sorry, something about that pickguard just looks wonky to me. To my eye, it kind of fights the shape of the whole lower curvature of the bass. Kinda killin' the sexy for me, I guess. just one man's opinion ;)

I do really like the simplistic look of the single/stacked knob though.

If I were going to go that mod route, I think I'd go with something more like this...

That is really nice! Great job on the photoshop as well. That's the great thing with guards: You can get different ones done. I'm gonna try and use tape to mount the guard for now so I can try a few until I settle on one.

I like that too! I think the top of the guard looks a little sad to me...like not happy and proud...more like bad posture...if that makes sense. If the tallest part of the top of the guard was closer to the top horn...like moved forward. Maybe a combo of the two. I do like it though!

Yeah, it was a kind of a quick lunch rush job... I could probably spend hours tweaking it more (see previous post), just wanted to spit out what was in my head to see if it worked. I agree though, the upper part could prob have a taller curve in it to make it less slouchy.

Oh yes...easy to get suck in and keep tweaking for sure. Just so many options.
