I do like it on brettso's new decade. Give a cool non-reverse t-bird look.
So I've been loving the Silver Surfer with Sunbeams, but I thought I'd try something different. I put some JO flats on it and started favoring the neck pickup lately. WOW.....I'm getting this very cool upright tone that is complex, woody, girthy, and yes...organic
It's just this primal old school vibe that's so naturally beautiful...I can't get enough! Love the fwack sound of the attack and the very full, round, slightly muted notes.
Totally feelin' it! Evan...you and me are sharing this mindset! Just thought I'd share my excitement!
Ebony+low action+JOs+ChiSonics+passive...just amazing! Very easy to get some funkified grooves going.

I don't think so. Not exactly sure why, but Kirk said that running one single coil Chi and a humbucker full on does weird things. Not sure what but... An then Humbucker gets active electronics and I thought you were a passive guy
hmmm....when would you ever run a single coil with the other full on?? Maybe I am missing something. I'm not all technical...I just rock out.
He he he! Sure! Like a 4-94, but the difference it that the neck jazz pickup is a split coil. Chis do not come in that flavor.
