So what do you guys think? Would the guard below look good on a CAR Dunn? I'm wanting something that's a bit less bright than white that has pattern. Hard to picture it in my head though.

Thanks, gusy. I like black too, except for the way it shows smudges and swirlies. I like white, and pearloid looks good also. I'm just trying to think of something different to try. I've had a lot of tort, white and black guards, so I'm thinking that something different would be nice.
I did some Google searching just now, and found plenty of CAR guitars with a black pearl guard. They didn't look too good to me.
