Well, thanks to the fine folks at Willie's (a.k.a. Nick ;)) and Leo... I'm the proud owner of a US Glaub.

Sherwood Green.
Mint PG.
Jazz taper neck.

Sweet Jesus, this thing is amazing.

oh man, that is even sweeter than i imagined.

enjoy!!! and DIBS!!!

BUT... I'm already putting together funds for a US JO. Probably won't put the order in for another 6 months or so; but still... awesome.

and so it continues.....the Lakland curse.......the Lakland's pile up and the cash disapears! (really hunny....not sure WHERE the money went....food? Mortgage? who needs it.....all I need is a nice cardbaord box and my Lakies....)

Good to see I'm not alone. I am more of a traditionalist when it comes to basses.

Speaking of basses, I don't think I've ever taken the chance to compliment you on your Black 'n' Tort Glaub, very tasty :D

I'm with you Luke...I'm more of a traditional guy too, but sometimes you gotta let loose. Love the Black 'n' Tort Glaub too!

Thank you kind sir. What can I say, other than I love, love, love, love, love, love that bass:bassist: I really do. Since i've gotten my BG n JO basses, I don't think i've even picked up my Ric or my Stingray. I never thought i'd say that either, but they are sitting alone in the far corner of my basement in a 5 space stand:ninja: Doubt i'll ever get rid of them, but man, these Laklands are just perfect!

LOVE the way you guys are "trying" to hold a conversation and 10 of my posts get in the way!!!

Mwah ha ha!!!!

Check this guy out......he is a friend of Dan's and has quite a lauded past as well......I think you will be impressed with some of the bands he has played with.

the song you hear on the web site comes of the album called "Other Planets".....and YES it is a Lakland.....very cool! I have heard the rest of the album...VERY COOL!

also - John Pirruccello (former Lakland employee and current Hanson (pickups and guitars) employee) plays steel guitar on the album!

as an aside, Erik has agreed to pick out a cut for the forthcoming LOG CD.....

if any of you still want to donate a track to the LOG CD let me know (we are finalizing the cuts soon)....e-mail them to me at: [email protected] (they have to be originals to bypass copy write issues).....
