Yeah, wel...I'll have to wait and see. I've played nothing but the Dunn all week at home, and it's grown on my big time. But I pulled out the DJ today, and it was instant chubby. But I'm going to follow through and play the Dunn tonight. I have an outdoor gig tomorrow night that is more high-profile, but it'll be an even better chance to see how the Dunn does since I'll run my rig a bit louder, plus I won't have any funky acoustic issues to deal with. Tonight is just a test run.

Cool. Lemme know your thoughts. I have special interest ya know. My Dunn will be here Tues, and I'll be trying to adjust from 20 years of "non-P" basses.

I know what my band will say..... what they always say.... " your basses sound great, but nothing fits as good as that brownish quilted Lakland (Traci--my 55-94)". I guess I can't complain right, at least they know which brand is best :D.

I had an original Duck Dunn with Fralins and would never slag the Fralins - great P Pickups!

The Darkstars are a whole other game.

If you already have a Darkstarred bass I'd leave the DD as is - I would do a White Pearl PG. No to the cowcatcher IMHO! Lol!

Those DPLEII's are sumpin - so nice I bought it twice!

Yeah the Inca is beautiful!! You have to see it in person to appreciate it. I can't help imagining how sexy my Dunn would be refin'ed in Inca, matching headstock, w/ a black PG and DS pup .... "Pure sex right thar, I don't ker who y'ar"

oooooo......I would agree...all EXCEPT keep the Fralin.....matching Headstock for sure in Inca.....yousa!
