Well, I have been playing my DJ5 quite a bit today. Beautiful bass.....Then I grabbed my ACDJ....amazing....but now here is my dilema....I am torn, 2 dj's is a bit redundant. There are things I like about both of them...and some that I don't like. I was planning on putting a J-REtro in one....and still may, but am working on getting a SAdowsky outboard EQ/DI. The ACDJ is uber lightweight...after playing the LPB5er (weighs in at around 10-10.5lbs) it feels like about 3 lbs.....but, the DJ5 is a 5....I don't use it a lot but when I need it, it is nice to have. Serious GAS for a decade......hmmmmm......what do I do? ANy input or advice....I want to keep all of them and my BG (my Glaub is going NOWHERE)...Hmmmmm....a new family pic will be posted tonight too.

Advice: Don't do anything rash. Give it some time.

Another great night with the Dunn. Outside gig using my RH450 with dual rs210's stacked vertically. No acoustic issues at all, so I could hear everything perfectly. The Dunn is beautiful sounding when playing around the 5th position. I do admit that I miss the authority of the DJ when playing below the low A. I also miss the clarity and singing voice of the DJ in the upper registers for soloing. This is a Latin jazz band I'm playing in, so not the ideal place for a P bass IMO, but it still it works VERY well. I'm extremely happy with it. I'll play it out for the 3rd time tomorrow in more of a rock setting, so I know it will shine there. Very glad I purchased it.

TOLD YA!!!! LOL
