LAKLAND OWNERS GROUP #31

I'm stoked that an excellent, hittin'-the-big-time player like Julie Slick posted several times in the last thread (though it's not reflected in this list).

Note that #30 lasted nine days--so divide by that number to get your Lakland-posts-per-day count, and that's just on TB.:D

Hello all, may I have a number? Here's my baby. USA Duck Dunn with Abalone inlays. There's a closeup of the inlays in the upper right hand portion of the picture. The photo was taken by Dan at the factory right before I picked it up!!

Congrats.... and welcome!!

Nice! Any reason for the reverse p placement? I dig the blocks!

The bass was a special order from someone, and the deal fell through. I was lucky enough to snag it. Besides the abalone blocks, it does indeed have the reverse P placement....why, I'm not sure, but it sounds great!!!!

As I said in another forum, being the dummy I am, I never noticed the reverse pickup placement until someone here on TB asked what was up!!!!

Cheers,
Shadi

It's Monday and I'm back on the Glaub. Played the 55-94 all weekend and it was a lot like work, not fun like it is suppose to be... makes me sad. I'll try again when the flats arrive, but for now..... 4 strings for me.

We usually make use of a fan to blow it up almost immediately (and into the light's path). I wipe down my bass after playing anyway, but I haven't noticed any accumulation on my amp/cabs. I'm usually set up a good ways away from the fogger.

Usually if anyone gets sticky, it's our drummer.

I get a funny picture in my head of the audience shellacked to the dance floor by the end of the night. That's how you keep the house full!
