Well, I just checked his profile on the LOG. He last logged in there just five days ago! I guess he's being quiet for some reason.

Just got an e-mail from him today....he sends his regards to all of his LOG Bro's and Sis'....he misses us all and hopes to return soon....

a couple - RARELY wear them though.....my wife yells at me like a little kid "wear your boots"....not a big boot fan....t-shoes are just as good for shoveling the white stuff and sledding!

Heil to our photoshop master! A friend of mine had a dream a few days ago. In his dream, he saw a white active 5-string Lakland DJ with a 55-02 electronics loaded. So, the thing is... Would be that configuration possible? Could be done? This way we'll have a JB with JB/P/MM config in just one DJones.

If so, would someone photoshop this and make a dream alive visually speaking?

why load the LH3? you can already get a J-retro etc for it....

or are you talking a J and MM pickup as well?

1998 - first run of 100.....right in the middle.....nice!

I have finaly had a little time with my Joe Osborn (formerly owned by the late Howie Epstein)...this is a great sounding and playing bass. I had to do some work to it, grounding issues. I set it up and strung with some flats...this bass RAWKS!!!

It is the best sound Jazz bass in my collection. I love the bass for so many reasons, that main one of which is that it belonged to one of my favorite bassists.

Can anyone tell me more or less what year this bass was made or at least a ballpark idea? The SN is 046 and has the Joe Osborn signature on the headstock.

Well, here is one that I ALMOST pulled the trigger on. It's a JO body, but you get the idea (and yes, Dan had no problem doing it!).

Once again, awesome bass! Laklands CAR is really growing on me (was never a fan of red before). Coincidentally enough, I had a very odd dream last night about a house in CAR, and I was nearly blinded. Don't ask, no idea

I am challenged by words... I'm really glad though, cause I thought I was getting so darn old I couldnt tell the difference any more.

well Tery - at OUR age...young just looks...well.....YOUNG....and we look...well...OLD!

but we have MORE experience.....gotta look at the positive.

personally - I LIKE the wider blocks.....the blocks on a 4 banger neck are nice...on a 5er, I would like them a little wider.....

Is it just me, or are the blocks too wide? They cover up too much delicious maple goodness .

The block width stays the same all the way down the neck, so that more fretboard is visible from block to edge in the higher register.

That is Jesse's (J1).....he had to sell his beloved JO5 to pay for this...also - had quite a wait for it....

nice bass......I agree...sweet...

but I wonder how the B sounds......

was supposed to see Jesse last week when I was in DC but plans fell though...wanted to get my hands on that real bad (for comparison sake....ONLY....yeh - thats it.....for comparison)
