I just stumbled upon this pic from a few weeks ago. I love the black on black this bass has.

And I like the white binding on the neck of the white bass here:

That is Gold...a Decade in Butterscitch would look like this.....
Well, I just checked his profile on the LOG. He last logged in there just five days ago! I guess he's being quiet for some reason.
I do. And the Missus and I are going on a sled-dogging trip for our anniversary this month. Now, if *that's* not a national stereotype in action , I don't know what is...
So drink up and order one!
Do you own a pair of boots?
Heil to our photoshop master! A friend of mine had a dream a few days ago. In his dream, he saw a white active 5-string Lakland DJ with a 55-02 electronics loaded. So, the thing is... Would be that configuration possible? Could be done? This way we'll have a JB with JB/P/MM config in just one DJones.
If so, would someone photoshop this and make a dream alive visually speaking?
Thanks in advance!
I have finaly had a little time with my Joe Osborn (formerly owned by the late Howie Epstein)...this is a great sounding and playing bass. I had to do some work to it, grounding issues. I set it up and strung with some flats...this bass RAWKS!!!
It is the best sound Jazz bass in my collection. I love the bass for so many reasons, that main one of which is that it belonged to one of my favorite bassists.
Can anyone tell me more or less what year this bass was made or at least a ballpark idea? The SN is 046 and has the Joe Osborn signature on the headstock.

I found an awesome clip of our own Julie Slick... hold on to your hats gents, she is killing this one.

incredible job Julie!!!@
... wait, I just read the tag... the drummer is her son??? Thats awesome, although Julie looks like she is about the same age... to me!!
Well, here is one that I ALMOST pulled the trigger on. It's a JO body, but you get the idea (and yes, Dan had no problem doing it!).

Once again, awesome bass! Laklands CAR is really growing on me (was never a fan of red before). Coincidentally enough, I had a very odd dream last night about a house in CAR, and I was nearly blinded. Don't ask, no idea![]()

8 toe Joe is what some friends call me. The ladies just call me "Remarkable"! Ba dum chee.![]()

I am challenged by words... I'm really glad though, cause I thought I was getting so darn old I couldnt tell the difference any more.
Is it just me, or are the blocks too wide? They cover up too much delicious maple goodness.

The block width stays the same all the way down the neck, so that more fretboard is visible from block to edge in the higher register.
I'D post a pic of the pink "mess" but it'd be embarrassing!
Just got an e-mail from him today....he sends his regards to all of his LOG Bro's and Sis'....he misses us all and hopes to return soon....
just sorting through some personal issues.
btw - he says Nessie is a tough beast to tame!!!
This is the shiznit right here... I wish Lakland would do a 34" fiver

That was killer! I wasn't expecting that much!
And, you guys know me, I have to say this about the guitarist... Looks like a bongo!
Leo sent me a photo of some of the used Laklands he is selling. He's going to get me pricing so keep them in mind if you're are lookin'!
