It's been a while. He has been very busy with Lakland sales, and didn't have time to snap some photos, and get me the info, but he is ready to update the site in the next few days! I posted a photo here that Leo sent me because he wanted you guys to get first dibs, but he wasn't happy with the photo. I am going to post new ones tomorrow.

Hey Lakland owners,

I thought you all(or at least one of you) might be able to help me out with a bit of a pickle I am in right now...

I am think about making a change in the Lakland direction. But I couldn't locate any dealers within my distance. I live in Boston(Fenway area) and don't have a car so I am limited to the T for transportation.

My question is this:

Is there any kind member of the LOG that lives in Boston that has a 55-02(ideally, or other skyline 5'r) for me to try out? I would really love to compare it to my current bass(1978 Fender Precision) in person.

I wanted to let you all know that one of our TB brothers, "Phat Daddy", passed away on Feb 1. He was 34 years old and as much a Lakland fanatic as any of us. His 2 Laklands were his pride & joy. I wish I had some more in the way of details, but I haven't been able to connect with anyone yet who can give them to me. As soon as I know anything worth passing along I'll post again.
